a Multimedia Notebook Monster from Toshiba

Finally the day has come, Toshiba has announce it's brilliant stuff for all gadget freak. It's a notebook called Flagship P500. Like all usually notebook feature, but this thing right here is more powerful with full support for multimedia application.

Toshiba Flagship P500 is sassy and shiny notebook represents anything but the pinnacle of web-centric mobile computing convenience.

With physical specifications that clearly define it as a space-saving desktop replacement, Toshiba’s new flagship P500 is a multimedia workhorse that boasts an eye-popping (and potentially battery-draining) 18.4-inch TruBrite LCD display that’s likely to attract the more affluent gaming consumer.

Powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor alongside up to 8GBs of DDR2 RAM, the P500 harbours a growling NVIDIA GeForce GT 230M graphics solution augmented with 1GB VRAM – a GeForce G210M variant with 512MBs of VRAM will also be available.

With thoroughly respectable core performance duly taken care of, Toshiba’s glossy powerhouse also looks to tempt prospective buyers with the inclusion of multimedia features such as an embedded TV tuner (analogue and digital DVB-T reception), a Blu-ray ReWritable drive to take full advantage of the computer’s 1080p resolution, and also Resolution+, which is an up-scaling algorithm to improve the quality of standard definition (SD) DVD discs.

Other expansion elements expected to be available through the P500 when it hits retail outlets in the fourth quarter of 2009 include ExpressCard support, FireWire, eSATA, a 5-in-1 card reader, Sleep-and-Charge technology and also a trio of USB ports.
